Elliot Dix has been scuba diving since 2005. After over 30 years dealing with foreign currencies, primarily in Charlotte, NC and New York City, he decided to take the giant stride into scuba diving instruction in 2019.

Covid sidetracked things but he is happy to be with the phenomenal team at Rainbow Reef.

As a military brat, he primarily lived near the water in Florida, California and Virginia.

His passion for the ocean goes all the way back to his time in Southern California, seeing tropical fish for the first time in Hawaii and then in Okinawa.
