Oscar Paez is currently a Consultant at The Family Business Consulting Group, a North American-based company that has been working globally for more than 25 years to serve more than 3,000 enterprising families. In prior roles, he has consulted in the areas of management, finance, succession planning, next generation, and corporate governance for companies such as Multi-Latinas, Family Offices, and Enterprising Families.

In parallel, he has worked in financial companies such as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse, Ultralat, Alpax, and UBS where he last headed the Colombian Office until December 2020. He was also CEO of Productos Alimenticios el Galpon a company that manufactures Animal Feed and Pet food since 1977.

At the board level, he is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Family Business Network USA and Therapeutic Scuba Institute. His experience in this realm includes service on boards such as ANDI’s food industry chamber, Concentrados el Galpón, Crispy Fruits, Swiss Colombian Chamber of Commerce, and FBN Colombia. Also has Co-Founded Be Close and Ipsa Earth Good.

He has been a diver since 1995, a Professional diver since 2012, and currently is an MSDT and active scuba instructor. Through his role at TSI, Oscar combines his converging passions for water conservation and neurodiversity to bring the benefits of diving to all.
